What is Sade Sati?
Sade Sati is the roughly seven-and-a-half-year period when Saturn transits the sign before your Moon sign, your Moon sign itself, and the sign after it — about 2.5 years in each.
The three phases
Each phase tends to emphasise a different area of life:
- Rising phase: expenses, travel and changes in routine.
- Peak phase: emotional pressure, responsibility and maturity.
- Setting phase: consolidation, family matters and finances.
Why it is not all bad
Saturn rewards discipline and honesty. Many people get married, build careers or buy property during Sade Sati. The outcome depends on Saturn's strength in your chart and your running Dasha.
